I’m Erato Lazarou, a Geospatial Engineer and Data Science graduate specializing in EU Research Project Management. I currently work as a Senior Project Manager in Horizon Europe-funded projects, coordinating multinational consortia and supporting innovation strategy, project governance, and stakeholder engagement.

My academic background includes an MSc in Geographic Data Science from the University of Liverpool and an integrated MSc in Natural Resources and Agricultural Engineering from the Agricultural University of Athens. I have worked closely with researchers, public institutions, and startups in areas such as AI applications, precision agriculture, and sustainability. I believe in the power of science as a tool for social impact and in bridging the gap between knowledge and action.

As a member of Greek Women in STEM, I aim to contribute to making female-led research more visible and to amplify women’s voices in the scientific and innovation communities. I believe that science should be inclusive, accessible, and communicated clearly to the public.

Outside of work, I enjoy traveling, fitness, and discovering new flavors.
