Greek Women in STEM - Podcast Episode for the Researchers Night in Greece
Thaleia-Dimitra Doudali
Women have always played a vital role in advancing High Performance Computing (HPC), shaping the innovations that drive our digital future. Since the launch of the SC Conference’s Women’s History Month initiatives in 2023, more than 150 extraordinary women — pioneers, researchers, engineers, and students — have been featured for their contributions to the HPC community.
This March, we are proud that one of our own girls has been featured among these inspiring leaders, Thaleia-Dimitra Doudali. Thaleia is an Assistant Professor at IMDEA Software Institute, and she leads a research group focused on practical ML-based techniques for managing HPC and cloud-edge computing resources. Her work spans diverse applications, including ML workloads like Large Language Models (LLMs). Her journey reflects the power of opportunity, mentorship, and determination: values we champion every day at our NGO.
We invite you to read her story and join us in celebrating this proud moment for our community. Check out the related SC Conference featured posts of Thaleia on LinkedIn, Instagram, and Facebook.
