Congratulations to our Thaleia-Dimitra — Elected Treasurer of ACM-W Greece!

We are proud to share that Thaleia-Dimitra Doudali has been elected to serve as Treasurer of ACM-W Greece for the 2025–2026 term. 

In this role, she will help advance initiatives that promote gender balance, mentoring, and networking opportunities for women in computing across Greece.

The Association for Computing Machinery (ACM) is the world’s largest and most respected professional society for computing. Its mission is to advance computing as a science and a profession through education, research, and community engagement.

The ACM-W (Women in Computing) is a global arm of ACM dedicated to supporting, celebrating, and advocating for women in all areas of computing. ACM-W Greece, the national chapter, brings together professionals, researchers, educators, and students to foster inclusion and equal opportunities within the Greek computing community.

Thaleia’s election as Treasurer is a recognition of her leadership and dedication to empowering women in STEM. Her commitment to mentorship and inclusivity aligns deeply with our team’s mission to create pathways for young women to thrive in technology and science.
